London 2012 Asia House Fair Displays Persian Artworks A collection of works by contemporary Iranian artists were showcased at the 2012 edition of the Asia House Fair in London. Works by Hojjat Amani, and Afsoun and Batoul Shoqi were presented during the event, Press TV wrote. “My new works were inspired by the Middle East awakening and show my hatred of war and love of peace,” Amani said. Asia House is a charity that aims to promote greater appreciation and understanding of Asian countries, their arts, religions and economies, and to foster closer communication between the people of Asia and Europe. At its third year, The Asia House Fair 2012 displayed a selection of innovative works by artisans, designers and master craftsmen of many Asian countries including Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Japan and China.
