Iran’s Cultural Week in Ankara Iran’s cultural week was held in Turkish capital in early July. A part of the cultural week’s programs was dedicated to the books and activities of the Institute of Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA). According to the public relations department of IIDCYA, the week-long program was organized by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization and the IIDCYA’s international affairs and PR department. During the event the East Azarbaijan’s branch of IIDCYA introduced the center’s books, activities, libraries as well as its artistic and cultural centers to visitors, ISNA said. The introductions included 100 book titles and film-books, 20 e-books, 34 of the center’s PC games and entertainments as well as new Dara and Sara dolls and animations. Moreover artistic and cultural workshops were held for children and adolescents. IIDCYA, the only institute which participated in children’s section, planned other programs including holding pavilions titled Qur’an and prayers, Islamic unity, Iranology and Shahnameh reading sessions. | ||
