Tehran welcomes further expansion of ties with Athens

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif and his Greek counterpart Dimitris Avramopoulos met at the UN headquarters in New York.

The two ministers discussed issues of mutual interest including bilateral ties and Iran`s peaceful nuclear activities as well as the latest regional and international developments particularly in Syria.
