Iran, Pakistan Boost Educational Cooperation Major Iranian and Pakistani academic centers have agreed to boost bilateral cooperation in academic and educational sectors. Three Iranian academic centers, including University of Science and Technology, University of Isfahan and University of Damghan, signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Pakistan’s COMSATS University in a bid to increase academic cooperation between the two neighboring nations, Mehr News Agency reported. The agreement was signed during the two-day COMSATS conference in the Pakistani capital Islamabad, attended by academicians and presidents of different universities which are the member of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO). The agreement contains exchange programs for students and lecturers, holding of joint conferences and workshops and granting scholarships to brilliant students. | ||
