Paris Hosts Persian Art Festival The French capital Paris hosted an Iranian contemporary art festival to introduce the Iranian contemporary art and its great diversity. ‘Iranian Arts Now’ festival was organized by the Arts Arena in Paris in order to introduce Iranian history, culture and art to European nations. The festival showcased several works by more than 25 Iranian artists including Barbad Golshiri, Neda Razavipour, Azadeh Akhlaqi, Saba Alizadeh and Arash Hanaei. The event included several different forms of artistic expression such as performance art, visual art, music and cinema, Press TV said. The festival also featured workshops, which gave the artists an opportunity to bring together different points of view. The Arts Arena was founded in 2007 as a nonprofit initiative for the creative and performing arts and issues of culture and society. It aims to present the arts from a multicultural perspective and tries to energize connections both across artistic disciplines and between the arts and business, economics, cultural policy, sciences, technology, and development. | ||
