Tehran Hosts Holy Qur’an Competitions The 29th International Holy Qur’an Competitions was held at Tehran’s Milad Tower International Convention Center. Reciters of Holy Qur’an from over 65 Muslim and non-Muslim countries took part in the six-day event, according to IRNA. Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyyed Mohammd Husseini, and several Iranian MPs and ambassadors attended the opening ceremony. Representatives of 65 Muslim and non-Muslim countries participated in the 29th edition of the event. The jury of the contest included 14 members, 5 of whom were Iranian. | ||
