Iran’s ‘Persian Gulf’ Project Selected for Asian Project Market
The Iranian cinematic project of Persian Gulf was selected for the 2012 Asian Project Market (APM) at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) in South Korea. Iran’s Persian Gulf film project entered the list of selected movies of the best Asian feature films. The Iranian project is slated to be produced in seven episodes by several filmmakers including Mohsen Abdolvahab, Ali Mosafa, Naqi Nemati, Mohsen Amir- Yousefi, Mona Zandi, Majid Barzegar, Shahram Mokri. The movie is planned to have its world premier in the upcoming Fajr International Film Festival in Iran. This year’s Asian Project Market unveiled the names of about 30 remarkable cinematic projects as well as meeting schedules with many directors and producers that would flock to the event. Established in 1999, Busan Asian Project Market is held to connect new directors and producers to funding sources and give them opportunities to meet with co-producers or financiers. Asian Project Market, which had been earlier known as Pusan Promotion Plan (PPP), was held in October 2012. | ||
