Iran Builds Vacuum Braking Anti-lock Brake Iranian researchers have designed and built a new smart anti-lock brake, for the first time, with the capability of breaking vacuum.
“The brake helps controlling cars in sudden brakes in road undesirable conditions and can decrease malfunctions in car,” Majid Rostami, the lead author of the project told. The plan uses the technology of breaking vacuum booster. The two-purpose booster which creates vacuum break at the time of brake in wet and slippery roads and breaks the vacuum on a regular basis to prevent locking the tires, he added. According to Rostami, the system could lessen malfunctions in roads because many cars lack ABS systems. The brakes are cheap and can be installed on all light vehicles which lack ABS. They can also influence all four tires. The newly-developed system is easy to be kept and creates no problem for the main circuit of the break in case of its failure. The system is installed on the vehicles booster. An electric circuit which controls the system in a smart way is installed near the car engine. | ||
