German Praise for Iranian Progress Iran has made significant progress in the field of science production, said the head of a visiting delegation from Germany’s Munich Academy of Science. Speaking in a meeting with Deputy Science Minister Arsalan Qorbani, Youta praised the scientific and technical achievements made by Iran in recent years. She referred to her visit to various Iranian cities, including Shiraz, Isfahan and Yazd, and said Iran’s advancement in all fields is remarkable. Youta said the Iranian people, who are very kind and hospitable, have a very rich culture, adding that they are aware of the world’s political and economic issues. She invited Qorbani to visit the Munich Academy of Science. Qorbani emphasized the importance of developing bilateral scientific cooperation. “We are prepared to cooperate with all countries, excluding the Zionist regime, in the fields of scientific, research and cultural fields, exchange of university professors and students,” he said. He noted that Iran has signed a number of agreements with numerous universities. Referring to the significant presence of women in scientific and technological arenas and universities, Qorbani said Iranian women comprise a large number of university professors and have equal same rights as men. Referring to the long record of friendly relations between Iran and Germany, Qorbani said efforts have been made for expansion of scientific ties between the two countries. | ||
