Saeqeh Jet Fighter Delivery on Schedule Three Iranian-made Saeqeh fighter jets have been delivered to the Army’s Air Force, Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi announced. Speaking to Fars News Agency on the sidelines of the 100th provincial trip of the government to Khorasan Razavi province, he added that the production and delivery of new jet fighters is accomplished according to plan and without any delays. General Vahidi said these jet fighters can play a major part in the defense of the country. Asked about a project to build unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), commonly known as drones, he said designing and building the first prototype of the drone, named Eagle Ray, is going according to the plan and hoped the desired results will be obtained in the near future. Pointing to the provincial trips, he highlighted their role in enhancing defense security and said many of the projects in the security and defense field are carried out in the provinces. | ||
